The Elite Path:
Your Artistic Mastery

The Amsterdam Creatief Signature Series

Unlike my other workshops where we explore the city as we find it, these premium experiences are curated for specific focuses and built around creative briefs that spark your creativity, making each session feel like a private commission. It is this alchemy of meticulous curation, deep expertise, and use of the world’s most iconic creative tools that makes these journeys unparalleled—offering a creative depth found nowhere else.

The Silver Narrative

There is an intimate luxury in the limited. Most of us have thousands of digital images that sit forgotten. This experience is an invitation to trade the infinite for the intentional. By returning to the speed of film we go beyond documenting the world and truly start seeing it. Using a Leica MP, a 35mm lens, and a single roll of film chosen specifically for your day, experience photography at its most essential.

We will spend our day hunting “decisive moments”, learning to trust your eyes over an algorithm, and distilling the essence of your journey into 36 frames. Each click of the shutter a deliberate choice, every photo a moment recorded as a physical heirloom. End our day with a sharpened sense of presence, elevated skills, and a roll of memories.

Provided Kit: Leica MP | 35mm lens| Ilford HP5 or Kodak Portra film

Investment: 5+ hours, €700.

The Monochrom Masterclass

The Art of Chiaroscuro

Dutch Masters like Rembrandt knew there is a profound clarity that emerges when you focus on light. The interplay of deep shadow, raw texture, and the sharp geometry of Amesterdam’s architectural heritage. In this class we focus exclusively on the structure of an image by stripping away the distraction of color.

Using the legendary Leica M11 Monochrom and flawless lenses, you will explore Amsterdam’s famed “lowland light”, diving deep into a world of contrasts and form shaped by light.

This is an experience for the photographer who understands that sometimes, to see the soul of a city, you must first remove its color.

Provided Kit: Leica M11 Monochrom | 28mm, 35mm, & 50mm lenses

Investment: 5+ hours, €700.

The Amsterdam Sketchbook

More than a lesson in urban sketching, this is a masterclass inviting you to slow down and document the city’s architectural geometry and narrative moments through the meditative practice of urban sketching. We move beyond the quick capture, capturing emotion as much as we do detail and focusing on the weight of a line and the behavior of color on paper.

We will explore the quiet corners along the canals to study perspective, light, people, and the Dutch design of the world’s most intentional city. Then, in a curated cafe we’ll work to realize your vision on paper. Whether you are a seasoned artist or picking up a brush for the first time, this session is about the intimacy of the artistic process and creating a deep connection to the city. You leave with a physical record of your presence in Amsterdam and the tools to continue your creative journey.
