Logistics & Standards
Bespoke:
Completely customized to suit your schedule, skills, and learning targets. Strictly 1:1 or 1:2 (if you bring a partner). Focused, private, and dedicated.
Gear:
“Leica-centric”, but not Leica-exclusive. We focus on manual control and intentionality. Whether you bring a rangefinder, a sketchbook, a DSLR, or a smartphone, we strip away the automation and replace the reactive chase with focused storytelling.
Weather:
As we say here, “je bent niet van suiker gemaakt”—you’re not made of sugar. We shoot and sketch in the Amsterdam weather, heading indoors only when necessary. It’s part of the story and experience. Waterproof ink and layered clothing are our standard, and we curate a list of locations that ensure success regardless of weather.
Location:
Amsterdam is a 750-year-old city full of iconic locations. We will move through them but avoid the crowds and clichéd locations
